I am a third-year Integrated Sciences student at UBC, specializing in neuroscience and computer science. I am broadly interested in how the brain processes information and adapts to change, and how computational approaches can help us better understand the neural mechanisms behind behaviour. Previously, I worked as a research assistant in Dr. Seamans’ lab at DMCBH, where I contributed to a project investigating how ACC activity and dopamine shape behaviour based on context and motivation. Reading Dr. Kim’s work on the PIECE model deepened my curiosity about the computational foundations of motor learning, which led me to join the CCM Lab. Starting this winter term, I will be working on my honours thesis under the supervision of Dr. Hyosub Kim. Through computational modelling, I hope to integrate what I have learned in neuroscience and computer science to better understand how the brain supports motor learning and adaptation. Outside of research, I enjoy playing the piano and recently started boxing.
