Hyosub Kim is an Assistant Professor in the School of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. His research interests include motor adaptation, skill learning, and the interplay between perception and action. Prior to UBC, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Delaware. Hyosub earned his PhD in neuroscience at the University of Illinois at Chicago under the mentorship of George Hornby and Daniel Corcos, and then completed a postdoc at UC Berkeley with Rich Ivry. Before he became interested in motor learning, Hyosub practiced his skills on the double bass.
