Emilia Banmann

About me

I am a fifth-year undergraduate Neuroscience student. Throughout my degree, I have found particular interest in the motor system and how experiences can influence motor circuitry and behaviour. I am also interested in how model systems can be used to understand the mechanisms of motor adaptation. Outside of my studies, I spend most of my time playing on the UBC Varsity Basketball team. As a neuroscience student-athlete, it’s super interesting to see the connections between motor learning processes and athletic performance.
